I will just start this post off by saying that anything my sister, Angelia, and I do is pretty much guaranteed to be over the top and Emma Kate's birthday party was just that - over the top. My sister really wanted to do a cute theme and threw around several ideas, but when she found the perfect theme she took off running!
The theme she used was "Cute as a Button". So just about everything you're going to see is handmade by us or one of our close friends. We put countless hours into making this party and it definitely paid off. Daniel, EK's dad, did all of the catering and even made strawberry lemonade and caramel from scratch - delish! Not only is the decor FAB, I'm very impressed by D's catering skills! Super cute idea! I can't imagine how long all of that took to do.
